Saudi Arabia posted on Thursday a budget deficit of 34.3 billion riyals ($9.14 billion) in the second quarter of 2026, Saudi state television reported, citing the finance ministry.
Total government spending rose 11% to 373 billion riyals in the second quarter compared to the same period of the previous year.
Total revenue increased 12% to 338.784 billion riyals in the second quarter of 2026.
Saudi Arabia recorded a deficit of 34 billion riyals in Q2,2025.
Oil revenue rose 22% to 185.1 billion riyals in the quarter, while non-oil revenue increased 3% to 153.7 billion riyals.
